No visit to our 300,000 sq foot flagship store in Springfield, Missouri, is complete without taking time to enjoy an unforgettable meal at this one-of-a-kind dining establishment. Dedicated to Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winning author and accomplished outdoorsman Ernest Hemingway; Hemingway's décor features authentic photos and memorabilia including a snapshot of Hemingway on the deck of the Pilar where he landed the largest marlin to date in 1935 at 1175#. A lovely mahogany and marble bar formerly a San Francisco barber shop in the late 1800's surrounds a 30,000 gallon saltwater aquarium overlooking the main dining room. The menu mirrors Papa's appreciate of the great outdoors featuring signature dishes with duck, bison, catfish, and the ever popular alligator tail. Hemingway's partners with local farmers and bakers for the freshest highest quality products and features all natural hormone free chicken, grass fed beef, and sustainable fish.

Google said they were open. We drove an hour and a half. Curbside pickup only unless puchasing guns/ammo. There are other bass pro shops, but we heard this one was the best. Wont waste that kind of time on these guys again.

Very nice store! Lots of neat things to look at. Great variety of things for your outdoor hobbies. Mostly comparable pricing! Worth a look if you've never been!!

Really cool design of building and organized very well. The aquarium was amazing from anyone who has never seen the beach to people who live at the beach! Overall an amazing place. Food selection is minimal though.

Yes

Yes, but please be respectful. The other day my son and I were shopping for some duck decoys to train our dog to fetch water fowl and another customer had their dog on a 15 ft lease and her dog kept jumping on us and climbing on the shelf where we were shopping. This was super annoying!

Yes, 10am-8pm

No. They occasionally buy firearms and are very particular which ones. Bows, definitely not, with the exception of rarities / antiques, occasionally.

The aquarium is totally awesome different things of underwater sea creatures from oceans to swamps lakes it took about 4 hours for me to go through it It was well worth it

The aquarium and the historical tour are both open. They are both AMAZING. Plan on an entire day for this trip. We have averaged about 6 hours each time we have gone for just the aquarium and another two or so hours for the historical side. All in all, totally woth the time and admission fees. If you plan on going regularly or have a large family, look into the conservation pass. It will pay for itself in no time.

yes there are carts for disabled.

Yes multiple brands and styles to choose from, also try the bass pro outlet first next door for discounted prices before selecting a regular priced pair

I said the same thing, then I went through. The exibit is worth every dime and then some. Its hard to explain without giving it all away but it is so much more than just an aquarium.
